taxi’s
An easy way to get around the island is by taxis which can be found mainly in the main tourist areas providing access to places such as in this part of the island are close to Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, which also makes them easy to get to. Please note that taxis are not metered, so always check and agree on a price before your journey begins.
Bicycles

Mauritius does not have a complicated transport network and has three main roads; the most important of these is the M1 which connects the airport to the south east with the capital Port Louis while providing access to other cities. As with other destinations, you will see the most traffic during rush hour (around 8 to 9) and evening (around 4 to 5), so plan your trips for these times.
